Job Description
Job Overview Join our Tasting Room team as a Kitchen Attendant, where your reliability and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position is focused on preparing and plating menu items to order using food that has already been prepared by our catering partner. You'll also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring all food safety standards are met. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen environment but is looking for a position that does not involve extensive cooking or recipe preparation.
Position Details Pay:
$18- 21/hour Primary days: Thursdays 12
- 8:30 pm, Fridays 10 am
- 5:30 pm, Saturdays 10 am
- 6 pm Additional shifts: Some Sundays as needed
Schedule:
Part-time Responsibilities Plate menu items to order according to established standard operating procedures Reheat and finish prepared foods as needed Slice, portion, garnish, and arrange ingredients Read and accurately follow menu and plating instructions Keep the service and plating area clean and organized Maintain proper food-handling and sanitation practices Monitor food levels and notify our catering partner when inventory needs to be replenished Complete basic kitchen cleanup and end-of-shift tasks Qualifications Previous restaurant, catering, hospitality, or food-service experience preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation Reliable and punctual Able to work efficiently and stay organized while handling multiple orders Comfortable working independently and following established procedures Able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical tasks required in a kitchen environment Must be comfortable following food safety and sanitation procedures No formal cooking experience is required. The majority of the food will already be prepared; the focus of this position is reheating, slicing, portioning, plating, and providing consistent, quick service.
