Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of food items while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. You will work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties Assist in the preparation of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including all cooking stations and equipment. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality. Support catering events by preparing and serving food as needed. Utilize kitchen tools, including knives, safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in menu planning discussions by providing input based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and tracking supplies. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with catering operations is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience as a cook or dietary aide is beneficial for understanding kitchen operations. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy environment.
