Job Overview Background Check Required Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation Required Work is inside a Secure ARMY Facility REAL ID Required Food Handler or Manager Certified We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. This role involves supporting food preparation, meal service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food industry operations and a commitment to providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in dietary departments, catering, or restaurant settings is highly valued. Duties Assist with menu planning and meal preparation to ensure timely and quality service Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards Handle food safely and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times Support kitchen operations including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining sanitation standards Serve meals to customers in a courteous and professional manner Assist with catering events, special functions, or large-scale meal services as needed Maintain knife skills and proper use of kitchen equipment Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow and customer satisfaction Check customers out at register utilizing cash and card transactions. Qualifications Food Handler Certificate Food Manager Certificate Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred Knowledge of dietary department procedures and menu planning is a plus Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Experience in culinary roles such as dietary aide, catering, or restaurant work is desirable Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Prior kitchen experience or background in the food industry Join our team to contribute your culinary skills and passion for food service while helping us deliver nutritious meals with care and professionalism.
