Job Description

Join our team as a Utility Worker at First Class Workforce Solutions, where you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen settings. This position focuses on, but is not limited to dishwashing, trash removal, and mopping. If you are detail-oriented, efficient, and dedicated to upholding high standards of hygiene, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using industrial dishwashing machines. Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other surfaces. Sweep, mop, clean, and vacuum floors for a neat and sanitary kitchen environment. Remove and dispose of trash and garbage to designated areas. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, ensuring organizational efficiency. Use specific chemicals to clean equipment and maintain sanitary standards. Handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety standards. Polish silverware when required. Wash pots as needed. Ensure proper sorting and storage of cleaned dishes and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen and service staff. Always follow food service sanitation regulations along with health and safety guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
Requires significant walking and the ability to work in a standing position for 8-hour shifts. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and perform other physically demanding tasks. Stamina to handle repetitive and multiple tasks while maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Hiring Essentials:
Previous experience as a Utility Worker or Dishwasher is required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have reliable and consistent transportation. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must be willing to submit to a Drug Test and Criminal Background Check.
