Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Front Counter / Phones Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming environment for our customers. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone. Your multitasking skills will shine as you handle food orders, process transactions using POS systems, and assist with food preparation in a fast-paced, quick-service restaurant setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist them with their orders at the front counter or over the phone Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing and cash handling Take food orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation in line with food safety standards Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accountability Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, including food handling and bussing duties Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring quality standards are met Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Follow all food safety protocols, sanitation guidelines, and proper food handling procedures Assist with inventory checks and restocking supplies to ensure smooth daily operations Experience Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus but training will be provided Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail math helps in managing transactions efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math skills are beneficial for success in this role Prior kitchen or café experience can enhance your ability to support food preparation tasks effectively Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining excellent customer interactions Join us if you're passionate about delivering memorable customer experiences!
