Job Description
A Wendy's Crew Member is an entry-level restaurant position where you work as part of a team to prepare food, serve customers, operate the register/drive-thru, and keep the restaurant clean and safe. Wendy's emphasizes customer service, respect, food quality, cleanliness, and food safety. Crew members also receive training on food safety and restaurant procedures. Wendy's Crew Member — Job Description Typical responsibilities include: Greeting customers and providing friendly, helpful service. Taking customer orders at the counter, register, kiosk, or drive-thru. Preparing hamburgers, chicken, fries, breakfast items, drinks, and other menu items according to Wendy's procedures. Making sure orders are accurate and complete. Handling cash and credit/debit transactions. Keeping work areas, dining areas, and equipment clean and organized. Following food-safety and sanitation procedures. Restocking food, drinks, packaging, and other supplies. Working quickly and efficiently during busy periods. Working with other crew members and managers to provide good customer service. Following Wendy's policies and procedures. Wendy's specifically trains restaurant crew members in food safety and requires basic food-safety Knowledge when they are hired. Qualifications For a Crew Member position, employers generally look for someone who: Is dependable and shows up to scheduled shifts on time. Has good communication and customer-service skills.
