Our property includes a restaurant, gift shop, grocery area, and Olalla history museum. About the Role We're looking for a hospitality-minded person who enjoys taking care of people, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn how our entire operation works. As an OBM Crew Member, you'll be trained to contribute across the operation. One day you may be welcoming customers, taking orders, making coffee, or pouring beer and wine. Another day you may be preparing sandwiches, making pizza dough, or supporting kitchen operations. You don't need to know everything on day one. We can teach you our systems, menu, and standards. What matters most is that you're dependable, willing to learn, comfortable working as part of a team, and genuinely interested in creating a great experience for our customers. This is a hands-on role in a busy, community-focused business where everyone pitches in. What You'll Do Your responsibilities may include: Customer service: Welcome guests, take orders, serve food, answer questions, and help create a warm and welcoming experience.Food and beverage preparation:
Prepare food and drinks according to our recipes, procedures, and quality standards.Coffee and beverage service:
Make espresso drinks and pour beer and wine as needed.Kitchen support:
Prepare sandwiches and other food items, assemble orders, and assist with kitchen operations.Cross-department support:
Move between food preparation, counter service, and other responsibilities based on staffing and business needs.Product knowledge:
Learn our food, beverage, beer, and wine menus, and Olalla history so you can answer customer questions accurately.Alcohol service:
Check IDs and follow all applicable alcohol-service requirements.Food safety:
Faithfully follow food safety practices and maintain a clean, safe work environment.Guest areas:
Maintain a tidy, clean and welcoming dining room and patio.Customer concerns:
Address customer concerns professionally and elevate issues to department leads when appropriate.Cleaning and organization:
Complete cleaning tasks throughout the shift, including bathrooms, trash removal, sweeping, and other duties necessary to keep the business clean and operational.Team support:

We're looking for people who are teachable, adaptable, and genuinely interested in hospitality. Experience & Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older . At least 1 year of customer service experience is required. Relevant experience may include food service, retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing work. An updated Food Worker Card must be provided before the first shift. A valid MAST alcohol service permit is required; applicants must pass the course before their first shift. Appearance & Dress Code All OBM Crew Members are expected to maintain a clean, neat, and work-appropriate appearance consistent with our established dress and appearance standards. Our standards include specific guidelines regarding clothing, hair color, facial piercings, jewelry, and overall personal presentation. Applicants should understand that these guidelines apply to all crew members and must be followed while working. Schedule & Availability Our current operating hours are:Thursday-Saturday:
8:00am-8:00pmSunday:
8:00am-6:00pm This is a part-time position, and availability to work Thursday through Sunday is required. Applicants must be available to work at least some hours on each of these four days .
