Full Job Description Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Spokane, WA)
Kitchen Equipment Maintenance, Repair, and Emergency Services Background:
This is a new requirement, not previously contracted. The requirement establishes comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM), corrective repairs, emergency services, testing, calibration, and technical support for all kitchen and dietary equipment at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center (MGVAMC), 4815 N Assembly Street, Spokane
WA 99205.
Tasks:
◦ Contractor shall perform scheduled PM, corrective repairs, and emergency response services in accordance with OEM specifications, VA Directives, VHA policies, NFPA, OSHA, and FDA standards. ◦ Services include cleaning, inspection, testing, lubrication, calibration, performance verification, and use of OEM or OEM-equivalent parts. ◦ Emergency response shall be next business day, within 24 hour time period or by 8:00am the next open business day if the next day is a weekend day or holiday (i.e. if an emergency response is requested on Friday at 4:00pm, the Contractor shall arrive by 8:00am on Monday) ◦ Technicians must hold OEM training or CFESA certification, possess EPA 608 credentials for refrigeration handling, and demonstrate competency in electrical, mechanical, gas, steam, and control system diagnostics.

From $25.80 per hour
