JANESVILLE COMMUNITY DAY CARE CENTER, INC. POSITION TITLE
COOKJOB SUMMARY
The cook is responsible for all aspects of planning, preparing, and cleaning-up all meals and snacks for the children at the Center. Hours are determined by Center needs, Monday through Friday.EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION/LICENSERS
: Able to meet qualifications and requirements as stated in Wisconsin Administrative Code or has applied for and has been granted a special exception from the State of Wisconsin. Must also be familiar with the USDA regulation requirements, and with the entire sections of the Wisconsin State CodeDCF 251 SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT, SKILLS, OTHER REQUIREMENTS
1. Prolonged standing and walking, stair climbing, bending, lifting, carrying up to 25 pounds, sweeping and mopping. 2. Is able to operate normal kitchen equipment. 3. Is able to work with forms, reports, and calculate simple math. 4. Has a valid driver's license. 5. Is able to maneuver on various surfaces indoors and out. 6. Is physically and mentally able to work with young children according to state regulations.WORK CONTACK GROUP
: Must be able to communicate with supervisors, children, vendors and other staff members.LEVEL OF SUPERVISION

: 1. Have a basic knowledge of food and nutrition. 2. Plan varied menus in cooperation with the Director and Executive Director. 3. Shop for groceries, ordering food supplies with Director's authorization. 4. Prepare food according to USDA regulations. 5. Clean up according to USDA regulations. 6. Make out USDA production records. 7. Record foods and non-foods from grocery tapes. 8. Keep stove, refrigerator, freezer, shelving, counters and appliances sanitary. 9. Record actual number of children and adults eating. 10. Prepare snacks. 11. Adhere to all center policies and procedures. 12. Other duties as required by the Executive Director and Director to ensure the smooth operation of the Center.' 'Additional Compensation:
