As a Team Member, you'll prepare fresh, made-to-order sandwiches, deliver friendly and efficient customer service, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant. Whether you're taking orders, preparing food, or keeping the dining area spotless, you'll play an important role in delivering the quality and hospitality our guests expect. We are currently hiring both Full-Time and Part-Time Team Members . Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. This is an hourly position offering competitive pay plus digital tips, flexible scheduling, benefits, and opportunities for growth in a fun, fast-paced team environment. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests with a friendly attitude and creating a welcoming experience. Prepare made-to-order sandwiches, salads, soups, shakes, cookies, and other menu items according to Potbelly's quality and food safety standards. Work efficiently across multiple stations, including register, sandwich line, food prep, dining room, and drive-thru (where applicable). Accurately take customer orders in person, online, and over the phone for pickup and catering. Operate the POS system and follow all cash handling procedures. Restock ingredients, beverages, chips, and supplies to keep all stations fully stocked. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized restaurant, including the dining room, kitchen, restrooms, equipment, and workstations. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines. Assist with receiving deliveries and rotating inventory using proper food storage procedures. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy meal periods. Resolve guest concerns professionally and involve a Shift Leader or Manager when appropriate. If at least 18 years old, safely operate the meat slicer after completing required training. Perform additional duties as assigned by restaurant management. Qualifications Must be 16 years of age or older . Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
