Duties Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards, including basic food handling and kitchen procedures. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with care. Assist customers with their orders, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring the dining area is inviting and sanitary. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Follow food safety regulations and sanitation protocols diligently to uphold health standards. Support team members in various roles such as food preparation, cashiering, or food delivery to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store math, and POS transactions. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience with culinary tasks or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided! Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is advantageous but not essential.
