Lifeguards:
Monday
  • Friday Morning, 7:30am
  • 11am Mid-day, 11am
  • 3pm Afternoon, 3pm
  • 6:15pm
Swim Instructors:
Monday
  • Thursday Mid-day, 11am
  • 2pm Afternoon, 3pm
  • 6pm
Responsibilities Lifeguard:
Ensure the pool area is clean, organized, and safe for use Maintain a safe environment by conducting regular safety checks of the facility and equipment (e.g. rescue & first aid equipment, water chemistry, aquatic features) Enforce all Aquatic Facility Pool Rules. Recognize and respond professionally to emergencies, provide care as trained to do so based on SRD and Lifeguard Training. Assist patrons and guests with check-in. Provide administrative and customer service support. Additional tasks as assigned by SRD Management May be trained and asked to make small changes to pool chemistry after trained to do so.
Lifeguard Requirements:
Must be primarily available weekday afternoons and 1 weekend day. Must have good work ethic and enjoy working in a friendly, outdoor environment Lifeguard certification with deep water Lifeguard Instructor, CPR, First-Aid, Certified Pool Operator a plus Previous work experience as a lifeguard/swim instructor a plus Must be 15 years of age or older Swim Instructor requirements and responsibilities: Shifts per day range from 1.5-3 hours, Monday
  • Thursday After school shifts are 4:00pm-6:00pm.
Experience preferred Must learn SRD standards and swim level descriptions Must have a warm and welcoming attitude Teaching kids ages 3-13 years old Must be comfortable holding kids and assisting them in swimming Must enforce safety rules
