Maintain continuous surveillance of prons in swimming pools. Ensure approprie headcount of prons involved in a swimming and/or wersport on an hourly basis. Call out warnings or take approprie action for prons who may have ventured too far or are in imminent danger. Provide safety informion to prons prior to them indulging in a wer sports or recreion wer play. Supervise prons to ensure th they are swimming within the safety protocols. Protects prons from hazardous conditions by ensuring th safety and pool rules and regulions are enforced. Supervises prons for safety and crowd control. Performs rescue work, promptly renders emergency first aid, and calls for medical assistance as necessary. Performs wer and land rescues equal to the standard of training when a wer emergency is taking place (e.g. drowning, medical or trauma in the wer). Manages respirory and cardiac emergencies to include performing cardiopulmonary resuscition (CPR), bag-valve-mask resuscition, or automic external defibrillion (AED). Uses and maintains care of emergency equipment such as specialized kits and rescue bags, backboards, head immobilizers suction devices, splints, stretchers, oxygen delivery systems, and monitoring equipment. Controls external bleeding with direct pressure and tres shock. Splints and immobilizes fractures and dislocions for transport. Attempts to ascertain whether the pron has preexisting medical problems and to obtain critical medical history from the pron. Employs a variety of established emergency medical techniques, methods, and equipment to stabilize the pron for transport to the receiving facility. Assists intermedie life support or paramedic staff. Administers swim tests. Schedules use of lanes and pool space for prons. Instructs prons on proper swimming pool etiquette and techniques. May check I.D. cards for authorized prons and collect usage fees, if applicable. Responsible for conducting opening and closing procedures of the facility. Spot hazards or potential hazards and take measures to prevent accidents/injuries. Promptly reports safety hazards to supervisor. Completes incident reports and assists in maintaining routine documents and reports. Ensures proper disposal of medical waste and potentially infectious merials. Responsible for the cleanliness of the buildings and grounds the pool areas. Responsible for vacuuming, skimming, and routine pool maintenance. Checks safety of rescue tubes and buoys and perform needed maintenance. Ensure th all pool equipment is stored safely and th any lost items are kept in a safe place. May opere wer pumps and control chemical additives to ensure pool wer meets specified standards. May apply disinfectant to showers, floors, and decks. Participes in continuous training to ensure proficiency in rescue and lifesaving techniques. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communices positively in a professional and friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulions and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupional illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immedie supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other reled duties as assigned. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance is required, while performing normal duties in the area. May perform work th poses physical demands beyond normal requirements during rescue. RESUME MUST CLEARLY REFLECT QUALIFICATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION

Must be least 15 years old. Six months of experience as a pool lifeguard is preferred. Possess and list current nionally recognized certificions : Lifeguard training, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent, Standard First Aid or equivalent. Ability to use and perform maintenance of pool equipment. Understanding of and the ability to enforce rigid safety regulions to ensure maximum protection of swimmers. Ability to use equipment to take pool readings. Must be able to pass an initial and recurrent physical ability test. Nional and ste background checks are required. Additional informion
