Lifeguard / Swim Instructor British Swim School - 3.4 Sunnyvale, CA Job Details Part-time $22 - $26 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Youth recreational activities facilitation Student supervision Lifeguard Training Swimming Clean workspace maintenance Full Job Description Job Summary Join our dynamic aquatic team as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard, where you'll play a vital role in fostering water safety, developing swimming skills, and creating an engaging environment for all ages. In this energetic position, you will lead swim lessons, supervise pool deck activities, and ensure a safe, positive experience for participants. Extensive aquatics training based on the British Swim School methodology is provided. Duties Lead engaging swim lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginner to advanced, ensuring safety and skill development. Supervise the pool deck during lessons and open swim sessions, maintaining a vigilant watch over all participants to uphold safety standards. Enforce pool rules and behavior management policies to create a respectful and secure environment for children and adults alike. Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to maintain cleanliness, organization of equipment, and adherence to health club or gym standards. Experience Current Lifeguard certification Prior swimming experience Proven ability to work with children Familiarity with swimming techniques, water safety protocols, and basic first aid procedures. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate students while maintaining a safe environment.
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
