Position Description:
Responsible for lifeguard operations.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of their assigned location, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of their area/location in both guest view and back areas while providing excellent Guest Service. Responsible for the successful communication of safety rules with Guests and Team Members in both positive and stressful situations. Rescue Readiness, First Aid, and crowd control are all basic daily functions. Working outdoors in all weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks is essential.
Personnel and Training:
Must complete American Red Cross training.
Safety:
Maintain safety of guests by meeting all standards and expectations for lifeguarding in accordance with company and American Red Cross policies and procedures.
Communication:
Responsible for the successful communication of safety rules with Guests and Team Members in both positive and stressful situations.
Requirements:
Enforces, adheres to, and follows all property policies and procedures. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Gloves, Hip Pack, Seal Easy, Safety Glasses, at least 30 SPF Sunscreen.
Qualifications:
Ensure compliance with all Iron Mountain Hot Springs policies and procedures. Represents the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner. Satisfies Iron Mountain Hot Springs' standards for performance and conduct. For example, reports to work regularly and on time. Perform other duties as assigned. Able to interpret both written & verbal instructions. Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor. Must be willing to work outside his or her zone of assignment to fulfill general property needs on occasion. Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be 16 years of age or older.
Compensation:
This position pays $19.00/hour to $21.00/hour including supplemental tip average. Starting wage is $16.00/hour to $17.00/hour Tip sharing across property averages to $3.00/hour to $4.00/hour
