Qualifications Lifeguard Training Full Job Description Overview:

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is looking for year-round Lifeguards at the YMCA. We offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English. If you are not a certified lifeguard, please check out our lifeguard classes at https://www.ymcanoco.org/lifeguard-cpr-certification/lifeguarding.

Responsibilities :

Advocate for the safety and wellbeing of our members and guests, and keep our Y's pool a friendly, welcoming environment for all to play, learn and build confidence in the water. Ensure the safety of participants while they are in or near the pool or hot tub. General maintenance and cleanliness of the pool, water testing and general problem-solving. Relate positively to a variety of people including other staff, members, program participants, and children. Other duties as assigned.

Lifeguard, First Aid, AED, Emergency Oxygen and CPR-PR Certifications. Professional, alert, courteous, and tactful. Blood Borne Pathogens within 30 days of being hired.
