This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-focused, customer-service oriented, and enjoy working in an active, outdoor environment. Responsibilities Monitor pool areas to ensure the safety of all members and guests Enforce rules and respond quickly to emergencies Perform water rescues, administer first aid, and provide CPR when necessary Maintain constant surveillance of swimmers and surrounding areas Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up pool furniture and equipment Keep pool deck clean, organized, and hazard-free Provide friendly and professional service to members and guests Report incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the Pool Director Qualifications Proven lifeguard experience with current certifications in CPR and First Aid. Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently. Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and basic cleaning techniques. Ability to lift heavy objects during pool cleaning or equipment setup safely. Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Prior experience in pool cleaning or maintenance is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Must be able to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts.
