Be the eyes, ears, and heart of the pool deck — Join Sweet Blue Swim Academy as a Deck Supervisor! Sweet Blue Swim Academy, located in Stamford, is not looking for just another lifeguard. We are looking for a leader on the deck — someone who ensures safety, maintains order, and facilitates smooth, clear communication between instructors, swimmers, and families. As a Deck Supervisor, you'll be more than a watchful eye — you will be the go-to safety officer, a calm presence under pressure, and a vital communicator keeping lessons flowing and families informed.
What You Will Do:
Serve as the primary safety officer during swim lessons Keep a watchful, proactive presence around all pool activity Maintain constant awareness of student performance and instructor needs Communicate clearly with instructors and assist with student assessments Enforce all rules with professionalism and confidence Respond swiftly and effectively to any safety concerns or emergencies Perform first aid and ensure safety protocols are always followed Keep the pool deck clean, organized, and equipment-ready
Who You Are:
20+ years old Certified in lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid (AED a bonus!) Calm under pressure and quick to act in emergencies Experienced in aquatic settings, preferably with swim lesson operations Excellent communicator who works well with children, families, and staff Sharp, alert, and always five steps ahead of potential issues Physically fit, strong, and comfortable being on your feet
The Details:
Part-time position
Pay:
$18-$22/hour, depending on experience 4-hour shifts available Daytime hours, Monday through Friday, must also work either a Saturday or a Sunday Apply today — and make a real impact in and out of the pool.
