Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant aquatic team as a Lifeguard, where your primary mission is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all pool visitors. This energetic role combines vigilant supervision with exceptional guest service, creating a secure and welcoming environment for everyone. As a Lifeguard, you will be the frontline guardian of pool safety, ready to respond swiftly and confidently to emergencies while providing a positive experience for guests of all ages.
Schedule:
Up to 16 hours per week. Every Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am-6:00 pm with one unpaid 30 minute lunch break and two paid 15 minute breaks. In June and July, the schedule will exclusively extend to Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9:30 am-6:00PM. Saturday and Sunday schedule will resume in August. Sawgrass Lakes is a community homeowners association of 900+ homes located in West Melbourne. We are now hiring certified lifeguards for our 2 story waterslide and surrounding pool. We are looking for candidates who are friendly, reliable, and enjoy time under the sun! Duties
  • Supervising patron activity of the waterslide and pool.
  • Responding to emergency situations and initiating first aid.
  • Turning on and off the waterslide at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Enforcement of amenity center rules and policies.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe pool deck and waterslide space.
Requirements Must already have lifeguard certification prior to starting. Must be at least 15 years old or older. Must have reliable transportation Sunday availability from 9:30am-6:00pm. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
