Job Summary Lifeguard - MarciSwim MarciSwim is looking for a responsible, energetic, and safety-focused Lifeguard to join our team! We provide lifeguarding services to families in the Atlanta area, and are looking for someone who enjoys working around kids and can help us maintain a safe, organized, and positive pool environment. Responsibilities Monitor the pool and surrounding area to ensure the safety of swimmers, families, and staff Remain alert and attentive while on lifeguard duty Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies Enforce pool safety rules in a friendly and professional manner Assist with keeping the pool deck clean, safe, and organized Help with basic poolside tasks Provide a welcoming and positive experience for our families Arrive on time and be dependable for all scheduled shifts Qualifications Prior lifeguard experience and a current certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA) is required Current CPR and First Aid Certification Having a Drivers License and reliable vehicle is preferred as locations vary and may not always be accessible by public transportation Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently Experience working with children and providing water safety instruction is highly desirable Familiarity with aquatic facility operations and maintenance practices is a plus Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively while maintaining guest service excellence Physical stamina to stand, walk, or lift for extended periods and perform heavy lifting tasks when required
