Work a schedule that reflects the needs of the branch and team; including evenings and weekends.
Beginning and ending class on time; remaining after class to answer participant or parent questions as needed.
Conveying information on pickleball programs and schedules and as appropriate and referring participants to other programs.
Building effective, authentic relationships with students, parents, volunteers, and staff.
Gathering feedback from members and sharing with supervisor to improve service.
Organizing and put away needed class equipment; report any facility or equipment irregularities, unsafe conditions or feedback to supervisor verbal and in writing.
Responsible for the safety and well being of participants and following and enforcing all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
Being knowledgeable and prepared to implement emergency procedures.
Reporting all accident/incidents on the appropriate form as required and provide to supervisor within 24 hours of event.
Submitting completed records on time (attendance, progress reports).Attending all required training sessions and scheduled meetings.
Maintaining prompt hours and follow established procedures for absences.
Supporting Annual Campaign fundraising.
All other duties as assigned.

Job Description
General Function:
Under the supervision of the program director, the Pickleball Instructor, will provide pickleball lessons and instruction to all individuals enrolled in pickleball classes, drill sessions or private lessons and ensuring the general safety of all participants. Minimum Entry Requirements Education/Experience Minimum age 182 years' experience teaching the sport Physical / Mental requirements: Must be able to frequently perform the following physical activities as dictated by the sport; run, climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, reach with hands, sit, stand, walk and perfume physical activity for extended periods of time, lift and carry up to 35 pounds, and communicate verbally.Must be able to lead and coach teams and individuals and have the ability to communicate; both orally and in writing.
