Seasonal Lifeguard

Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Seasonal Lifeguard and be the essential guardian of safety and fun at our outdoor aquatic facility. In this energetic role, you will ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for all guests by actively monitoring pool activities, performing rescues when necessary, and maintaining cleanliness and order around the pool area. Your enthusiasm and vigilance will help create memorable experiences while upholding the highest safety standards throughout the season. Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor pool activity to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies using established rescue techniques. Enforce facility rules to promote a safe and respectful environment for all guests. Perform routine pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and ensuring water quality meets health standards. Provide exceptional guest services by assisting visitors with pool rules, directions, and general inquiries with a friendly attitude. Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment such as rescue tubes, first aid kits, and emergency alarms to ensure readiness at all times. Maintain accurate incident logs, safety reports, and daily activity records to support ongoing safety protocols. Assist with pool area upkeep, including cleaning pool decks and surrounding facilities to ensure a pristine environment. Qualifications Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, and Lifeguard Training. Ability to swim confidently in various water conditions and perform water rescues efficiently. Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including basic cleaning and water quality checks. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting when necessary, and respond quickly in emergency situations. Strong guest service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Prior experience in pool cleaning or maintenance is preferred but not required.
