Lifeguard

Spurwink is hiring a hard-working candidate like you to become the Lifeguard at their facility in Portland. This a per diem position that has a flexible work schedule.

DUTIES:

Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable. Cleans the pool and related facilities equipment, assists with chlorine residual water tests and with records and charts of water tests. Records accidents, and adds chemicals to the pool water as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED with 6 months to 1 year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. CPR certified and a current certification as a Lifeguard by a recognized source of training is required.
