About us OPC Social & Activity Center in Rochester, Michigan, has a state-of-the art fitness center with an indoor pool, therapeutic pool, indoor track, cardio and weight machines, basketball courts, pickle ball, exercise classes and more!

Hours needed:

4:00 pm to 8:00 pm 2 to 3 days per week, and occasional Saturdays 7:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Additional hours available. This is a year-round position at our indoor pool. Job Duties 1. Oversee the activities of indoor swimmers to ensure their personal safety. 2. Provide patron rescue and administer first aid or life saving techniques if needed. 3. Prepare the pool for upcoming activities and keep the pool deck tidy. 4. Maintain records and reports of pool activities. 5. Provide excellent customer service and a positive experience for members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess Lifeguard Certification at time of hire OR have the ability to obtain certification within one month of hire. On-site certification training provided, but must be able to pass the certification test in the pool. Must possess or obtain CPR/First Aid certification. On-site certification training provided. Must be at least 18 years of age; or 16+ years of age and possess a school work permit. Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
