Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Experience a dynamic contract opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference in educational settings. This full-time role begins August 22, 2026, and continues through June 6, 2027, providing consistent hours while supporting diverse student needs. Multiple SLP positions are available, with caseloads that can be personalized based on your age group preference. You'll collaborate in a supportive environment that includes self-contained classrooms, fostering growth for both your students and your own professional journey.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates encouraged to apply Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations in educational settings Knowledge of IEPs, assessment, intervention, and collaborative planning Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Provide assessment and direct therapy services to students across varied age groups (placement based on your expertise and preference) Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other service providers to promote student success Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with district and professional requirements Contribute to team meetings, and support inclusive practices in self-contained as well as mainstream classrooms
