Up to 12 hours per week, Evenings (typically Tues/Thurs, 5-8:30pm) and weekends (typically two Saturdays a month, 10am-2pm) SUMMARY The Community Education Aquatics team is responsible for providing safe, high-quality swim lessons to all participants. Staff are required to communicate with students and families, clearly explaining expectations, lesson objectives, and outcomes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 15 years old Ability to work with people from various cultures Demonstrate excellent customer service and problem solving skills while dealing tactfully and courteously with the public Able to attend work regularly and report to work in a timely manner Effective verbal and written communication Current Lifeguard, CPR, and First-Aid Certificates within two months of hire Lifeguard certification preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a standard pool environment which requires occasionally lifting such articles as file boxes, swim equipment or heavier materials with help from others, and/or lifting and carrying light objects frequently. A job in this category requires walking or standing to a significant degree and may involve sitting, swimming, and entering/exiting the pool.
