Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Lifeguard. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests at our pool facility. This is a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.Duties:
- Monitor the pool area and enforce safety rules and regulations
- Provide surveillance to prevent accidents and respond quickly to emergencies
- Perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool and surrounding areas
- Assist with pool maintenance tasks, such as testing water quality and adjusting chemical levels
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- If not already lifeguard certified, must have a path to obtain certification
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water rescue techniques
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to perform duties that may involve heavy lifting or prolonged periods of standing or swimming
