Job Description

Lifeguard/Swim Instructors
  • Princeton The Princeton Fitness and Wellness Center is currently seeking a lifeguard to monitor the activities in the swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers. We are looking to fill the shifts below.
  • opening shifts
  • Mid•Day shifts (10am-3pm) The primary duties of a lifeguard include, but are not limited to: Being a fit and strong enough swimmer to prevent drowning of another individual Keeping patrons of the pool safe and enforcing facility rules and regulations Maintaining order in swimming areas Inspect facilities for cleanliness Test chemical levels and temperature Lifeguard pay rate ranges from $15.

We are also seeking passionate Swim Instructors to teach individual and group swim lessons. These individuals can make $20 to $40 dollars an hour. We are looking for individuals who want to grow within our organization! Swim Instructor Duties can include, but are not limited to: Effectively teaching and communicating levels of progression to learn how to swim Being organized and diligent with time management and lesson schedule Desire to expand and grow in their swim knowledge and teaching techniques Great communication skills with clients and fellow staff members Swim Instructor pay rate ranges from $17-22 an hour.
Qualifications:
All lifeguards must be American Red Cross, Lifeguard certified. To be a swim instructor you must be American Red Cross WSI certified. We also offer lifeguard courses to obtain these certifications
