Swim Team Coordinator The Connection Summit, NJ Job Details Part-time $19 - $25 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Employee discount Qualifications CPR Certification Working with athletes Swimming Experience working with children First Aid Certification Teaching Full Job Description We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and passionate Swim Team Coordinator to lead and support our growing developmental swim team. The ideal candidate loves coaching, enjoys working with swimmers of all levels, and is confident coordinating staff and swimmers during practices and swim meets. Our developmental team is entering its second season and continuing to grow both as a program and as a team. We are looking for an enthusiastic personality who can create a positive team environment, bring energy to practices and meets, and help foster a strong sense of teamwork and community. The ideal candidate keeps an open mind, recognizes the potential in every swimmer, and is excited to help athletes build their skills, confidence, and competitive abilities.
Responsibilities:
Design daily training sessions focused on conditioning, endurance, and technique to enhance swimmer performance. Monitor swimmers constantly to strictly enforce pool safety rules and protocols. Attend competitions, lead warm-ups, manage team entries, and provide actionable tactical feedback. Share progress reports with families and coordinate schedules with facility management.
Requirements:
Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard and Safety Training for Swim Coaches certifications (or willingness to obtain them within the first 2 months). Background in competitive swimming or prior coaching/teaching experience. Strong communication skills, patience, leadership, and a deep understanding of swimming drills. Experience working with children ages 5-14.

Monday -
Thursday:
4-7pm
Friday:
Learn to Swim instruction 4-6:30
Sundays:
4 Swim meets
Pay:
$25/hr Swim Team/Instruction $19/hr
Swim Meets Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 29.0 per week
