Buffalo, NY Pay Range:
$18.00-$18.50/hour The Saturn Club, a distinguished private club located in Buffalo, is looking for a dependable and service-minded Fitness & Aquatics Attendant to support our fitness facilities and member experience. This is a part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping spaces clean, organized, and ready for use while providing friendly, professional assistance to members. Candidates must hold a current lifeguard certification and be comfortable working primarily evening hours, with occasional early-morning opening shifts. Hours & Schedule This position typically works 1-3 shifts each week . Most available shifts are in the evening and may end between 8:00 and 9:00 PM . From time to time, coverage for a 6:00 AM opening shift will also be needed. Because of the early start time for opening shifts and potentially limited public transportation availability, reliable transportation is required . What You'll Do As a Fitness & Aquatics Attendant, you'll help create a comfortable, well-maintained environment for club members and guests.
Your responsibilities will include:
Keeping the fitness center, locker rooms, and surrounding areas clean and orderly Completing routine cleaning as well as more detailed cleaning assignments Providing courteous assistance to members and guests Managing towels, laundry, and related supplies Monitoring inventory and replenishing supplies when necessary Checking facilities throughout your shift to ensure they are safe, presentable, and ready for member use Assisting with general housekeeping or light maintenance-related duties when needed Providing occasional front desk support Greeting members, answering telephone calls, and handling basic questions What We're Looking For Current lifeguard certification is required Ability to work evening shifts and occasional 6:00 AM openings Reliable transportation Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Consistent attendance and punctuality Attention to detail and a strong sense of organization Ability to complete responsibilities independently with limited supervision Professional and team-oriented approach The right person for this position takes pride in maintaining high standards and understands the importance of both cleanliness and hospitality in a private club setting.
