Seasonal Summer Lifeguard! (Lifeguard, CPR/AED Certification Required)

Starting at $19 per hour! Time and a half on Holidays! About us We provide lifeguard management to over 20 outdoor pools throughout the New York Region. We manage over 100 lifeguards during the summer and build great long lasting relationships with our staff. We offer an array of different services from complete pool management, lifeguard training, chemicals, maintenance, pool inventory, and repairs. We are the one stop shop for all of our locations needs. We are looking for a strong, trustworthy, and responsible Summer Lifeguard. The successful candidate will be able to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to teach water safety to others. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to be a part of this amazing team and have a lot of fun while they're doing it.

Responsibilities:

Observe swimmers at all times and notify management if a problem arises. Observe swimming conditions and perform lifeguard duties. Respond to emergencies and assist injured persons until they can receive more advanced medical treatment. Enforce rules that govern off-limits areas, prohibited activities, such as diving in deep water, and other safety precautions. Conduct daily checks of the pool and pool deck for safety, cleanliness, and good conditions Assist in checking chemical levels Assist in ensuring the pool area is clean Assist in ensuring pool equipment is set up and stored properly

Season Dates:

May 23rd - September 7th Holidays are time and a half

Certifications Required:

•Must be at least 16 years of age•
