Ours is a multi-generational community of 25 families who share a lovely grassy lakefront. We are seeking a friendly, responsible lifeguard to ensure the safe recreational swimming of our members and guests of all ages. You will assist members in all waterfront activities and maintain swimming areas.

MUST HAVES

Lifeguard & CPR Certification High School Diploma (or graduating this year) Ability to act as a good role model for children Good communication skills Positive, helpful attitude Must have reliable transportation to and from work

NICE TO HAVE

Ability to work with all ages Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Applicants 17+, with at least one year experience preferred Friendliness, helpfulness, and ability to work with all ages highly valued

RESPONSIBILITIES

Enforce waterfront rules so that everyone can feel safe and have fun Supervise children's contained swim area and designated adult swim section in lake Administer children's deep water swimming tests Maintain cleanliness of beach PERKS Beautiful outdoor setting BONUS for a job well done Opportunity to earn extra income by providing private swim lessons off-hours to community members Optionally, provide first aid training class to community members (for additional hours) Flexibility, to some extent regarding hours. Talk to us if you have conflicting dates, or prefer up to 1 hour shift in schedule times.

PAY AND SCHEDULE PAY

: $25

• 30/hr based on experience plus BONUS for job well done
