CPR Full Job Description Overview:
The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers make a difference in people's lives. Through the collection and resale of gently used goods we are able to provide the financial support to assist men and women with a variety of social and spiritual afflictions. The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities with every man or woman being provided a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction. All our effort is focused on developing life skills and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. More than just a job, each member of the team contributes to recycling goods that literally recycle and repair broken lives. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is looking for Security staff for the residential program.
Duties:
The Security position will assist with night security for the residential program to provide a caring, respectful, and safe atmosphere for those seeking life transformation through the ARC program.
Responsibilities include:
Check personnel for proper identification and clearance. Permit and document authorized people to enter property and document anyone exiting. Conduct rounds throughout the building, maintain log book, and monitor alarm systems and video surveillance. Request emergency personnel for any high-risk situations. Sound alarm or call police or fire department by telephone in case of fire, difficulty with unauthorized people, or medical emergencies. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Security experience preferred. Must be able to write log entries and incident reports as needed. Must be in agreement with The Salvation Army's Christian spiritual approach to rehabilitation. Must be certified in basic First Aid including Narcan administration or become certified within 60 days of hire.
