Seasonal Lifeguard Join our team! Albany Country Club is seeking a responsible, attentive, and friendly Seasonal Lifeguard to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a welcoming, family-friendly club environment and takes pride in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our members and their families. Responsibilities Supervise pool activities and maintain a safe environment for all members and guests. Enforce pool rules and safety procedures. Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide first aid or emergency care as needed. Maintain constant awareness of swimmers and pool activity. Assist with daily pool operations, including opening and closing procedures and maintaining a clean, organized pool area. Provide friendly and professional service to club members and guests. Work collaboratively with other seasonal staff and club team members. Qualifications Current lifeguard certification required. Position Details Seasonal summer position Work in a welcoming private country club setting Opportunity to work with families and members in a positive outdoor environment Requirements Proven lifeguard experience with current (within one year) certification in First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently and efficiently Knowledge of public safety procedures, water rescue response techniques, and first aid protocols Strong observation and communication skills. Responsible, dependable, and able to remain attentive throughout each shift. Friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to work effectively in a family-oriented, member-focused environment.
