Mason Aquatic Center Are you an early riser looking for a rewarding job with consistent morning hours? We're hiring a dependable, safety-focused Head Lifeguard to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys starting the day early, working in a positive team environment, and helping provide a safe and welcoming experience for swimmers. What You'll Do Maintain active surveillance of the pool and aquatic areas Enforce facility rules in a professional and friendly manner Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies Perform water rescues, CPR, First Aid, and other emergency procedures when necessary Assist with opening the pool and preparing the facility for morning swimmers Complete routine safety checks and maintain a clean, organized pool deck Provide excellent customer service to members and guests Work cooperatively with other lifeguards and aquatic center staff Morning Schedule Shifts begin at 5:00 AM. We are looking for team members who can reliably arrive on time for early-morning opening shifts. Morning availability is essential for this position. Qualifications Current Lifeguard Certification preferred, but Cincinnati Pool Management offers Lifeguard Training Certification Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred Strong swimming skills Dependable and punctual, especially for early-morning shifts Able to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift Professional and comfortable interacting with swimmers and guests Able to work independently and as part of a team Not certified yet?
