- American Red Cross lifeguard certification; YMCA lifeguard or other certifications may be accepted
- If your certification has expired, we can discuss ways to get renewed At least 2 years High School Education; Must be at least age 16+, ages 16-17 requires work permit Need First Aid, CPR, AED Knowledge and demonstration of basic rescue technique and Excellent swimming skills including ability to swim 300 meters using the 5 basic strokes Experience as lifeguard preferred bur newly certified or interested, considered This position is responsible to monitor pool activity and facilitate safe and appropriate pool practices, to rescue/assist those in need and provide instruction to participants, to maintain a clean pool environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Creates a positive work environment and establishes relationships with key patients/customers, physicians, departments, and staff. This may be demonstrated by flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work 'extra,' unscheduled shift assignments, or assuming alternate location assignments.TriHealth Value:
