In this energetic role, you will oversee pool safety, assist with pool maintenance, and deliver exceptional guest services. Your proactive approach and certified skills will ensure a secure and welcoming atmosphere throughout the season. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for swimming and safety with a dynamic team environment. Responsibilities Monitor pool areas continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations using first aid and CPR techniques Conduct routine pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical testing, and ensuring water quality standards are met Assist guests with pool access, provide information about amenities, and deliver friendly guest services Perform regular pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming, and maintaining cleanliness of surrounding areas Support pool setup and breakdown for seasonal operations, including heavy lifting of equipment when necessary Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and maintenance activities Experience Previous lifeguard experience or certification is required; current certification in CPR and First Aid is essential Demonstrated swimming proficiency with the ability to perform rescue procedures confidently Knowledge of pool maintenance practices including chemical handling and water testing Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks related to pool cleaning and setup Strong guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Familiarity with safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and basic first aid techniques Join us for an engaging season where your skills make a difference!
