Responsibilities:

Teach and lead swimming lessons. Onboard, and manage employees. Maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics and service operations by creating employee, and pool lesson schedules. Address and document employee, customer, and pool incidents that occur. Requirements Spend a significant amount of time in the water to teach and guide instructors. Commitment to working weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as mornings, afternoons, and evenings on weekends, to align with schedules that best accommodate children and parents. Passionate about working with children. Preferred Qualifications but nor required at the time of hiring: Experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management is preferred. A specialist aquatics qualification is desirable, but not required. Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid Certifications, may be obtained during training. 1+ years of customer service and/or management experience is desirable, but not required. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is desirable, but not required.

The Position:

The Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, instructor team management, initial and ongoing training, customer conversations as well as teaching lessons when and if necessary. This position will also require due diligence with tracking required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employee's development and competency and skills.
