• You will interact with swim students and their families, making it fun for everyone on the pool deck! What You'll Do Your job is to keep the pool deck running smoothly before, during, and after swim lessons. You'll help instructors and team members stay organized and ready while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for our students. Set up and tear down the pool deck before and after lessons
• requires the ability to lift 25 lbs and carry around equipment Take pool chemical readings before lessons Take attendance and interact with students and families during lessons, including celebrating student milestones and answering questions about the program Support instructors and deck staff with operational needs Keep the deck clean, safe, and organized during lessons Help with class transitions and student flow on deck Restock supplies and prep materials as needed Assist with safety checks (e.

g., water toys, traffic flow, basic pool area tidiness) Requirements of the job Ability to be on your feet for 4-5 hours at a time and lift equipment up to 25 lbs. Ability to work in a hot, humid, and loud pool deck environment for the entirety of the 5 hour shift A dependable, proactive attitude. Ability to work in a team. High school diploma or in the process of completion. Comfortable around water (no in-water responsibilities).

• Lifeguard experience is preferred but not required
