is hiring certified Lifeguards. Come work on our Team at Philadelphia's premier aquatics instruction company. We're looking for engaged and expert individuals to staff our pools for our upcoming swim season! Position Description The lifeguard is responsible for safety in the pool and on the pool deck at Fitness Alive facilities by preventing and responding to emergencies. Job Duties Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility, acting immediately and appropriately in event of an emergency. Provide emergency care and treatment as required until arrival of emergency services. Present a professional appearance and attitude and maintain a high standard of customer service. Is willing to complete a PA Child Abuse History Certification & PA Criminal Background Check Ensure orderliness and cleanliness of pool and pool deck. Perform other job tasks as assigned. Required Certifications Up to date Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross or other Accredited Association Skills and Attributes Excellent communication and customer service skils Dependability and punctuality Reliable transportation Pay $18/hour Locations Fitness Alive Center City, 1425 Arch Street, Philadelphia
