Flexible work schedule What is needed for this job: 18 years of age and high school diploma or equivalent. YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise certification with experience or National certification. Specializing in Adaptive Group Fitness Exhibit strong leadership skills; possess a passion for member service, building and maintaining a culture of member service excellence The responsibilities we will trust you with: Set an example of healthy living and personal fitness. Prepare routines and/or choreography within YMCA standards. Provide support and encouragement to members and reinforce healthy lifestyles. Ensure the safety and well-being of members and staff. Notify supervisor of any safety hazards or concerns within the facility. Provide excellent service to all members and notify supervisor of member needs, supplies or other items needed to ensure program quality and member satisfaction. Ensure that safe movement and technique is utilized by every member in all classes. Maintain knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and maintain records on any incidents.
