Job Description

As a Fitness Instructor at the YMCA, you'll be the spark that inspires members to push past their limits, discover their strength, and build confidence — both inside and outside the gym. You won't just lead workouts; you'll create an environment where people feel supported, motivated, and part of something bigger than themselves. Salary:
$18/hr The candidate must accept and demonstrate the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The candidate must be able to perform physical tasks commensurate with the position requirements.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply Possessing working knowledge of strength training and fitness. Possess and maintain a current CPR and AED certification or successfully complete no later than six weeks after employment begins. Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organizational, customer service, problem solving and verbal communication skills. Possess and demonstrate an ability to: read, interpret and effectively communicate documents, information and instructions such as safety rules, strength training and Mobile Fit instructions, and YMCA policies and procedures.
