Job Description
Supervisor:
Aquatics and/orProgram Director General Function:
Working directly with the supervisor and/or other staff, an instructor will assist in implementing the progressive YMCA Swim Lesson curriculum.Qualifications:
- Must have experience working with children and
- Knowledge of major competition swim strokes and breathing techniques
- Must have current CPR/First Aid certification
Principle Activities:
- Supervise and care for the children in the Swim Lesson program
- Provide lessons as outlined by YMCA and/or supervisor
- Communicate lesson plans, intentions and observations to parents and/or supervisor
- Effectively communicate foreseeable schedule conflicts with supervisor
