In this role, your primary mission is to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all community members enjoying our pool facility. Whether you are already certified or looking to get certified, we want individuals who take water safety seriously and take pride in protecting our community.

Key Responsibilities Vigilant Supervision:

Actively monitor and supervise all activities within the pool area to prevent accidents and ensure member safety.

Safety Testing:

Conduct mandatory swim capability testing for all children ages 14 and younger before granting access to the deep end.

Rule Enforcement:

Clearly and politely enforce all posted pool rules and regulations for swimmers of all ages.

Member Service:

Greet community members warmly, assist with questions, and promptly handle or escalate any safety concerns.

Team Collaboration:

Maintain a clean pool deck and show a readiness to assist aquatics supervisors with day-to-day facility tasks.

Strict Performance Standards Zero-Tolerance Policy:

To ensure absolute safety, cell phone use, reading, or any other personal distractions while on active duty are strictly prohibited and constitute grounds for immediate dismissal.

Qualifications & Requirements Certification:

Current Lifeguard Certification is highly preferred at the time of interview and hire.

Training Opportunities:

If you are not currently certified, we are open to interviewing candidates who are fully committed to obtaining their American Red Cross Certification prior to their first official shift.

Mindset:

Must be a reliable team player with excellent observational skills and a strong sense of responsibility.

Pay:

$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
