Job Description
Job Summary Lifeguards ensure the safety of guests in all aquatic areas by monitoring activities, enforcing rules, and responding quickly to emergencies. Create a fun and secure environment where everyone can enjoy the Water Zone safely. We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons by monitoring activities, enforcing pool rules, and providing excellent guest services. This role requires a proactive approach to safety, strong swimming skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. Lifeguard and CPR certification training will be provided as part of the onboarding process for this role. Successful completion of the training is required to fulfill the job responsibilities. Requirements Age 16+ Must be able to must be willing to complete and successfully pass lifeguard training. Training (lifeguard and CPR) will be provided. Must be willing to undergo a background check Must be willing to undergo drug/alcohol test Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Responsibilities Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests. Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment. Perform regular pool maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations. Assist guests with questions or concerns, delivering exceptional guest services. Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and facilities. Participate in training sessions and drills to stay current on lifesaving techniques. Qualifications Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary. Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning is preferred but not required. Ability to lift heavy equipment or materials as needed. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests. Previous experience in guest services is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
