Part-time Swim Program Deck Ambassador

Job Overview As a Customer Experience Specialist (known internally as a Deck Ambassador ), you will be the friendly face of our pool deck. You'll play a critical role in creating an welcoming, organized, and positive environment for our swimmers and their families. Schedule & Availability We are looking for candidates who can work at least one weekend shift per week.

Note:
Fixed, consistent shifts range from 4-5 hours—making this position easy to fit around school or another job!
Core Responsibilities Deck Setup & Maintenance:
Prepare and break down the pool deck area before and after each shift. Perform regular checks on water chemistry and temperature.
Customer Engagement:
Warmly welcome parents and students as they arrive. Serve as the main point of contact for questions about accounts, child progress, or general program information.
Instructional & Managerial Support:
Assist Swim Instructors and Site Managers during lessons to ensure smooth deck operations and safety.
Problem Resolution:
De-escalate and resolve any on-deck questions or issues efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to work at least one required weekend shift. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable interacting warmly with children of all ages and their parents/guardians. Responsible, reliable, and maintains a professional demeanor on deck. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working in a warm, humid, and energetic/loud environment on the pool deck. Ability to stand, walk, and move actively throughout a 4-5 hour shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of customer service experience. Current Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, or AED certifications (can be obtained during training) .
Pay:
$17.50
•$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0
