Cordova Health and Rehabilitation, we're more than a team! We're united by a purpose to care! We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Housekeeping Aide to join our team and help provide high-quality nutritional care to our residents.
Position Overview:
Housekeeping Aide Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, the Housekeeping Aide is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas, according to established policies and procedures, and to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
General Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas according to established daily, weekly, and monthly schedules Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and furnishings using approved cleaning products and equipment Dust, damp wipe, wash, sanitize, and polish fixtures, furniture, and surfaces including beds, bed rails, nightstands, tables, chairs, light fixtures, shelves, windowsills, and over-door facings Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and infection prevention throughout the facility Properly handle cleaning supplies and equipment while following safety and sanitation guidelines Respond promptly and courteously to resident and staff needs related to housekeeping services
Qualifications:
Housekeeping experience preferred Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English Must demonstrate patience, compassion, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled Must be capable of performing the essential job functions and physical requirements of the position
