Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a secure environment for yourself and colleagues. Conduct floor care activities such as mopping, sweeping, and buffing to maintain impeccable flooring standards across all areas. Use janitorial equipment effectively for industrial cleaning tasks, ensuring all surfaces meet sanitation standards. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen or equipment transport while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently during any incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supply usage, and safety compliance to support hotel housekeeping management. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with knowledge of hotel experience standards. Strong skills in floor cleaning, sanitation, and the use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor care machines. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively in urgent situations. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Experience with industrial cleaning techniques and janitorial practices that uphold high cleanliness standards.
