Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Handle various cleaning tasks in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture, linens, and cleaning supplies efficiently and safely. Maintain sanitation standards through routine cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas meet health regulations and hotel policies. Use commercial cleaning equipment effectively, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and steam cleaners for optimal floor care. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a hospitality or hotel environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in floor cleaning, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles is advantageous.
