Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public spaces, and facilities using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment, including floor buffers and sanitation tools. Handle chemical agents safely by following established safety protocols for storage, mixing, and disposal. Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely, including moving furniture or equipment as needed to maintain cleanliness and facility standards. Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment to ensure optimal floor care and sanitation. Provide shuttle transportation services for guests or staff, ensuring timely and safe arrivals at designated locations. Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas by adhering to commercial cleaning standards and safety procedures. Support facilities maintenance tasks when necessary, including minor repairs or reporting issues to the appropriate department. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a focus on commercial or residential cleaning environments. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and proper handling of chemical agents with safety in mind. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Familiarity with safety protocols related to chemical handling, industrial cleaning, and facilities maintenance. Prior porter or maintenance experience is a plus; ability to work independently during evening shifts with energy and motivation.
